End to end supply chain manager

My Client are a Global Manufacturer based in West Yorkshire with multiple sites across the UK

With a strong order book my client are well placed in their sector and are now looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their Organisation. This role will be extremely demanding and as such the individual appointed will need to be resilient and be able to pull together a poorly performing site, both operationally and culturally.

Description

  • Further develop the basic Business S&OPprocess.
  • Develop strong and clear processes to support the SAP ERP system.
  • Stock management target 98.5% OTIF perfect order - manage the Supply Chain Co-ordinator and Warehouse Supervisor and support training needs.

  • Responsibilities include maintain accurate forecast and demand, create and process purchase orders for replenishment stock, manage working capital, obsolescence, agree min/max stock levels for critical products, ensure stock availability, improve clarity & distribution of information
  • Establish, always develop and sustain excellent relationships with our main finished goods suppliers to ensure effective supplier performance, in turn leading to reduced safety stock holding. This will lead to some overseas travel to key EU suppliers. Challenge current lead times and MOQ agreements.
  • Lead the monthly supply chain review - KPI reporting, escalations, issues, opportunities

  • Formulate a plan and develop relationships with key customers (UK wholesalers and EU distributors) to better understand stock 'in the channel'
  • Manage owned internal warehouse operations, plus 3PL overspill, and ensure effective key performance parameters in place and reported to monitor OTIF, warehouse utilisation and accuracy of stock records.
  • Embed a continuous improvement culture within supply chain and allocate appropriate resources to drive forward improvements projects as required
  • Undertake additional tasks as defined by the Line Manager and/or the Management team.



Profile

  • Experience of performance turn-around and change management
  • Experience with SAP systems.
  • Line Management Experience.
  • Ability to support Operationally and Lead a Team.
  • Self-Motivated.
  • Results Focused.
  • Continuous Improvement Experience - prepared to challenge the Status Quo.

Job Offer

£45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits
