Excellent opportunity to join a company going through an incredible period of growth. The position has come about due to the expansion and will give the candidate great opportunity to help shape the role. The company have modern offices on the outskirts of Leeds and offer a nice working environment with various perks associated with working for a business that is still family owned.

The role will include monitoring stock for the business, analysing various data and reports to look for trends to allow for more efficient stock management. You will liaise with the purchasing teams, monitor the stock planning system and purchase stock when it is running low. Alongside this you will manage inter branch orders to ensure stock is maximised and monitor lead times of companies deliveries and clients expectations to ensure suitable stock levels are maintained.

The business also want somebody with commercial awareness that will source cheaper, better and more cost effective products from existing or new suppliers to help drive costs down further.

For this role you will need some stock control experience and be comfortable working in a small team within a fast paced, busy and dynamic office. You will need to be able to work with spreadsheets to analyse data and be comfortable putting ideas forward to the team.
