Due to internal promotion our client is looking to recruit an Export Supervisor to work within their International Customer Service Team to provide first class customer service and management support to their Global Clients.

Have you got the ability to manage and direct a dedicated International team?

The successful candidate will primarily take responsibility for supporting Overseas Customers, ensuring all International shipping documentation and requirements are expedited in an efficient way.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer accounts, to include administering orders, deliveries, quotes and ad-hoc enquiries
• Liaise with customers regarding future requirements to secure ongoing business
• Producing monthly management reports, including forecasts
• Contribute to the development of the team
• Participate in various meetings and project work as required

Experience:

• A customer focused approach with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Supply Chain experience preferred, ideally with a manufacturing background
• Export knowledge essential, along with how to trade Internationally
• Excellent organisational and negotiating skills are a prerequisite, along with a proactive approach, with a can-do attitude, nothing is too much trouble
• Attention to detail is paramount
• Must be a team player, an excellent communicator, able to manage customers and work to senior level
• Excellent IT skills, including all MS Office applications
• A second language would be advantageous, as well as the flexibility to travel
