FREIGHT & LOGISTICS OPERATOR - Immediate Interviews Available

£22000 to £23000

Based in Hinckley (LE10)

12-15 Contract initially / Possible Permanent position

Currently recruiting for a FREIGHT & LOGISTICS OPERATOR to work for a huge name in the world of Freight, Logistics & Distribution. This is a new exciting opportunity and can offer an immediate interview and immediate start date.

The role based in Hinckley is to work in the International Department handling the requirements of customers. Duties will include:

  • Offering high levels of customer service to customers via telephone and email regarding International shipments
  • Providing quotations to customers for shipments outside of the standard tariffs
  • Updating systems with accurate and relevant information about shipments
  • Building & maintain strong working relationships with carriers, suppliers and customers
  • Answering any queries and resolving issues
  • Completing all general Freight & Logistics administration.

The Successful candidate will need to demonstrate a string and positive work ethic, with excellent communication and customer service skills. An ability to work with a high level of attention to detail, and have PREVIOUSLY WORKED IN THE INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT, SHIPPING OR LOGISTICS environment.

This is initially a 12 - 15 month maternity contract and could turn into a position - Standard Monday to Friday working hours
