Senior Commercial Catering Contracts Manager, Hertfordshire

MET Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading Hertfordshire based catering firm, looking to expand their commercial and industry operations across the region. Our client is looking to add an experienced commercial contracts manager to help them take the next step in the growth plan.

Responsibilities:

• Line manage the regional team of business development and contracts staff to increase the companies foothold in the Business and Industry sector for the supply of catering services
• Manage the units and field staff within the area to ensure all contracts are fully operational and delivering the service/supply agreement as per contract.
• Work closely with the nutritional and health and safety teams in house, to ensure that new contracts and tenders operate inline with the companies strict H&S policy and continue to deliver nutritious catering solutions to local business and commercial enterprise/higher education facilities
• Manage the recruitment, training and retention of contract managers; working closely with HR and Operations Manager
• Manage the full customer/client relationship ensuring satisfaction across the companies key deliverables, monitoring existing contracts whilst spearheading the growth of the B&I (Business & Industry) sector for the group
• Reports into the Operations Manager/CEO

Experience:

• Previous experience within catering contracts, specifically for the commercial sector
• Management experience of a diverse team, including field based staff
• Confident and adept communicator at all levels of the business, working closely with senior management as well as field based sales/contracts staff
• Strong understanding of the catering industry and exposure to running numerous units at the same time
• Knowledge of food safety a benefit
• Project management experience
• Accurate accounting and financial management with the ability to communicate effectively with the finance and operations teams
