Supply Chain Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus (depending on experience)

Based: Blackburn

Our client is a highly dynamic, forward thinking business in the FMCG food & drink sector. They are experts in supply chain, sales and marketing solutions for the UK’s leading brands and have achieved successful sales growth with their service internationally.

To continue their growth, the business is now looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to join, strengthen their team and grow with the business.

The Job

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will form part of the Operations Team and will work closely with the Managing Director. This is a commercially focused role and will involve overseeing multiple business functions within a small but dynamic team.

You will be responsible for the supplier relationships and be the first point of contact, ensuring efficiency and best practise are maintained. You will play a key role in identifying and integrating of new suppliers.

For each account, you will create specific growth strategies and hold range reviews to showcase new products.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Operations, Supply Chain or Procurement environment and someone who is capable of working in a hands-on environment.

The ideal candidate will inspire those around them and bring a fresh outlook to the business with the freedom to explore new avenues. You must be ambitious, commercially minded and willing to learn to further progress within the business.

You must be able to demonstrate flexibility and be comfortable with travel overseas.
