Growing fitout contractor with strong brand seek contracts manager to lead their Edinburgh business.
Your new company
Our client are a national contractor with a strong presence in the Glasgow and Edinburgh fitout and refurbishment markets. With a buoyant 2019 lined up ahead of them they are seeking the services of an ambitious contracts manager to join their business and run a key part of their operation.
Your new role
Your key focus will be on managing and developing their business in Edinburgh and the eastern central belt where they already have a strong presence. Running 3 to 4 projects concurrently in the range of £300K to £5million you will play a key role in the successful delivery of all of their projects across this region. From managing a small team of PM's and Site Managers to ensuring your clients are satisfied with the end result your role will be multi faceted and busy.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will come from a joinery/trade background and have extensive expertise of running complex fitout projects as both a site manager and project manager. Ideally you will have previous experience of running multiple projects as a contracts manager and be familiar with the accompanying challenges and issues.
Our client would be open to considering applications from experienced senior project managers who are looking to step into a contracts manager position but you must possess the necessary personal characteristics to make a success of this role.
