Logistics Manager
North West (Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington St Helens
£55,000 - £75,000
My client who are a globally recognised automotive manufacturer are currently seeking a Logistics Manager to add to one of their busiest manufacturing sites based in the North West
Experienced logistics leader with a background of automotive (preferably JIT). Proven leadership skills and customer management essential.
The role
*Ensuring that production and customer material needs are supported
*Manage the flow of materials through various distribution channels
*Management of department in line with business objectives
*Manage the introduction of new models and engineering changes
*Lead the implementation of new markets and territories
Education and Experience
*Preferably degree qualified with experience within Supply Chain Management, ideally within a high-volume automotive manufacturing background
*Experience of building and maintaining supplier and customer relationships
*Experience of MRP/ERP/SCM/JIT/KANBAN practices and techniques
