The Company:
Nigel Wright Supply Chain & Procurement Division are supporting an FMCG business in Tyne & Wear as they appoint a Demand Planner into their organisation.
The Role:
This is a newly created role for a Demand Planner to join an FMCG company that produces in excess of 1,000 SKUS at their site in Tyne & Wear.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will operate in a stand-alone role that is heavily data driven but also requires you to build excellent relationships with the commercial department and customers so that you can create an accurate forecast plan.
You will also own the S&OP process for the business - arranging monthly meetings and getting the key stakeholders to engage and contribute to the process.
The Person:
For this role we are looking for a highly numerate, analytical candidate with a proven supply chain background (probably in data analysis, demand planning or similar) and with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
SAP experience would be preferred.
