An experienced Digital Operations Technology Manager is required for a major, Brighton based Financial Services organisation that enjoys a large & complex technical environment and digital landscape.

Tasked with establishing a new digital operations function, the Operations Technology Manager will define the strategy, build the technical teams across Service Management, Information Security/Access Control & Supplier Relationship Management to ensure an effective service is provided across the different business divisions.

Rarely available within Enterprise sized organisations, this Operations Technology Manager role offers an almost a blank canvass to work with and represents a hugely exciting opportunity to create an effective digital operations function from scratch.

From defining the size & scope of the different teams, the skillsets required & recruiting the personnel, to setting the KPI’s that their teams & 3rd Party Suppliers will be judged against, the Operations Technology Manager will utilise their knowledge of managing Service Management, Information Security/Access Control & Commercial Negotiations/Supplier Relationship functions, ensuring operations support is effective across Digital Products, User Experience, Infrastructure, Websites & Applications accessed via the Cloud.

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate good Service Management, IT Infrastructure support & commercial negotiation experience, ideally including management of IT Risk.

Working across the organisations different business units, the Operations Technology Manager will require good people & leadership skills, together with the ability to guide & influence senior stakeholders.
