Our client is a global market leader in the manufacturing of traffic management, barriers, fencing and road trench covers

Our client has experienced strong year-on-year turnover increases with amazing growth plans over the next four years.

Family owned business with nearly 30 years of experience in this sector and multi-million pound turnover.

The Role:

Due to massive growth in the European market, our client is looking for an export sales business development manager to join their team.

You will be based in the UK but your territory will cover the whole of Germany, with a view to expand this overtime.

As this is a new role for an established brand, there will be a strong new business focus to develop relationships with distributors and end users throughout Germany.

Target markets where the distributors will sell to include the utilities sector, traffic management firms, local authorities and government.

You will spend 50%-70% of your time in Germany developing relationships with distributors with all travel related expenses fully covered.

The Successful Candidate:

The successful candidate must speak German natively or to a completely fluent level.

You will be a new business hunter as this role will involve developing a territory that has not had a direct employee of our client working on it before. The German market has been handled via an agent / freelance consultant.

You will be confident in delivering presentations and product demonstrations to distributors, buying groups and end users.

You will be happy to attend trade shows, exhibitions, industry events, and other networking events to grow brand awareness in the German market.

You will be energetic, target-driven and able to work autonomously with strong support from the internal support team.

The Remuneration Package:

Basic salary of £30k-£40k with a 10-20% bonus on top, paid biannually.

All travel related expenses completely paid for.
