Do you have experience of contracts, ideally NEC3? How would you like to join the contract management team of a Birmingham based organisation responsible for one of the most exciting projects in the Midlands?


As Assistant Contract Manager you'll have the opportunity to join an experienced team responsible for the management of a number of contracts - the majority being professional services contracts.


You will support with the administration of contracts, assist in the drafting of change instructions, progress change requests, support mitigation measure initiatives and ensure the early warning process is completed. You will also liaise with stakeholders around spend and performance of contracts and contribute to developing KPIs.


In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of contract administration
  • Familiarity with various forms of contract, ideally NEC3
  • Excellent analytical, commercial and negotiating skills
  • The ability to review contracts and apply value for money processes
  • Understanding of planning and delivering major projects
  • Strong communication skills


In return the successful Assistant Contract Manager will receive a remuneration package that includes a salary of between £30,000 to £34,000 dependent upon experience, plus additional attractive benefits.
