SF Group are recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to join a business on a fixed term contract basis. This is initially for a 9 month Maternity Cover, however it could very well be extended to 12 Months.
You will be joining the business reporting directly in to the purchasing manager. The located is close to Grantham.

The role of Material Controller is to plan and forecast material requirements for various customers in order to ensure availability and effective allocation of parts and materials to build lines as needed.
You will be liaising with suppliers.
Maintaining stock levels
Supporting production requirements
Identify current and future requirements through MRP
Monitor the level of availability of stock
Stock control and deliveries
Maintenance of bills of materials for quotations

You will need to be very well organised and have good knowledge of Excel to take on this role.
