The Company:
Nigel Wright Recruitment are supporting a leading Food & Drink company in the North West in the appointment of a Supply Planner.
The Role:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure optimum utilisation of the plant meeting the plant and customer`s needs, avoiding unnecessary inventory stock-holding.
- Reviews master production schedule and work orders, establishes work order specifications, establishes priorities.
- Revises schedule according to availability of materials, workers, and production capacity and clear communication of information to all relevant functions at your Site.
The Person:
My client is willing to consider established planning professionals or candidates with suitable transferable skills to be able to learn the requirements of the roles quickly, namely:
- Highly competent in Excel
- A confident, proactive communicator
- Highly numerate and detail orientated
- Experience of ERP (SAP) would be preferred
