Operations Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join a travel business that is really going places! Our client provides high quality family holidays across a growing portfolio of exclusive resorts throughout Europe. They are extremely well positioned in their niche and have a well recognised brand that grows in reputation and stature every year.

As Operations Manager you will be based in head office in Stamford and have overall responsibility for everything on resort - from the provisioning and setting up of each resort prior to the season starting, the training and remote management of resort staff, to the overall customer experience throughout each holiday. As part of the management team, you will play an integral part in shaping an exquisite holiday experience for each and every customer. This is an extremely busy, varied and demanding role which will require you to travel extensively at certain times of the year.

To succeed in this position it isn't essential that you have previous travel experience. What is essential is that you have a track record of managing and coordinating multiple business lines in order to deliver a product or service that delights your customers. This role is all about producing an exceptional holiday experience so a customer centric approach must be evident in everything that you have achieved so far in your career. Hard working, organised and efficient, you must be able to prioritise and manage multiple projects with unmovable deadlines and juggle and resolve numerous issues that inevitably arise. You will have excellent communication skills and the interpersonal dexterity to co-ordinate and manage suppliers, teams and people at every level across Europe and it would be a real advantage if you were used to setting up and running replicable process focused on efficiency and ease.
