Warehouse Inventory Controller

On behalf of a friendly and professional company we are searching for an experienced Warehouse Inventory Controller to join their team.

On a day to day basis your role will require:

• Control of QI
• Ensuring stock is placed in the correct bin size to utilise available space based on demand
• Action all post-change and quality issues within the SAP warehouse system
• Allocate new picking locations to new products
• Ensure racking locations are labelled with bin identification
• Investigate all transfer order errors
• Action all write-off lists
• Allocation, deletion and sequencing of bin locations and update of SAP system
• Daily implementation of replenishment strategy
• Stock house-keeping and identification and reporting of damage
• Relocation of misplaced stock
• Oversee daily warehouse stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
• Identification of shrinkage
• Assist the Company Stock Controller in new product introduction
• Assist Company Stock Controller in the management of obsolete and slow moving stock

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist the Company Stock Controller and Warehouse team in the management and control of the warehouse stock and with other duties as requested
• Take a responsible attitude to Health and Safety at work
• Manual handling and lifting is integral within the role
• Extensive use of PC system is required

• Demonstrable experience of warehouse process with the ability to suggest new ideas, and assist with implementation of different working practices
• Demonstrable experience of stock reconciliation
• Thorough knowledge of SAP Warehouse system
• Planning and organisational abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to drive fork lift truck essential
• An amount of physical work is required (lifting).
