About the Buyers Admin Assistant role:

The Buyers Admin Assistant primary functions will be creating product information, raising purchase orders, performing sales preparations and mark-downs, managing of critical paths, archiving samples and in general providing the Buyer and Assistant Buyer with administrative support.

What will you be doing as a Buyers Admin Assistant?

- Create products on AX.

- Liaise with Merchandising and Stock Control departments to raise and amend purchase orders.

- Price changes on AX.

- Raise barcodes and send to suppliers.

- Process trouble shipments and RTV’s.

- Manage the critical paths and chase deliveries, keeping the relevant departments updated.

- Fill out spreadsheet with new/updated product information and inform e-commerce so they can add SEO details to websites.

- Create photography briefs and liaise directly with the photographer to make sure these are completed in a timely fashion.

- Handle events merchandise and critical path. Coordinate with Merchandiser regarding additional stocks.

- Archiving/disposing of samples and management of sample room.

- Ensure concept room is meeting ready keeping display cabinets updated and greet guests when required.

- Manage supplier forms and compliance start up packs.

- Communicate new product arrivals, out of stocks and discontinued products with the relevant departments.

- Develop and maintain good working relationships with cross functional team, suppliers and manufacturers.

- Regularly review competitive selling prices and prepare reports to present to the team. Monitor social media.

- Assist at external Scouting events as required.

- Housekeeping of system.

- Day to day administrative support – taking phone calls, answering emails and responding to sales queries.

- To undertake, from time to time, other matters at the discretion of the Assistant Buyer and Buyer.

What we are looking for in our Buyers Admin Assistant:

- Methodical and systematic yet flexible approach to work with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate well with a range of stakeholders in a variety of forms both internally and externally.

- Able to work independently as well as being adaptable in a team working environment.

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office programmes, in particular Excel.

- Excellent time management, highly organised and able to multitask across a variety of product areas. This involves being able to independently prioritise own work load

- Previous experience working in a retail environment as a Buyer’s Clerk or equivalent role is desirable

Salary: £24,040 per annum
