Highly successful business with global reach needs Senior Supply Chain Planner £30-40k + bens, Basingstoke
Your new company
A large business and leader in their specialist (technology related) field, with operations and sales globally, currently driving a programme of business process improvements to deliver further advances within an already successful organisation.
Your new role
A combination of handling day to day Supply Chain Planning requirements, while also participating in process improvement and business change projects. You will understand the SIOP / S&OP function, and work within that process to optimise Inventory and reduce costs while maintaining or improving service levels.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of Supply Chain Control within a fast moving manufacturing business. Any experience of coordinating supply from manufacturing in the Far East (whether within group or external) is an advantage. You will need to be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritise your work accordingly within a fast moving business. You should have analytical and planning skills, and any experience of NPI and / or EOL (End-of-Life) is an advantage and should be included within your CV. Good Excel skills are needed, and you will most likely have experience of one or more ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Sage, MS Dynamics etc). Any experience of process improvements and project work should also be included within the CV, demonstrating the impact of changes made wherever possible.
