JOB TITLE: Supply Planner/Demand Planner (FMCG - French Speaking)

LOCATION: Near Trowbridge, Wiltshire

SALARY: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience plus great benefits including free parking, pension and product discount

Our client has an enviable market position and is currently enjoying continued success which has resulted in an urgent requirement for a Supply Planner/Demand Planner to join their Head Office team.

Joining a small and friendly team, as their Supply Planner/Demand Planner, you will be focussed on a number of difference projects to improve the Supply Chain for our client. This will see you establishing, verifying and improving the reliability of sales forecasts for our client by collecting data from records, sales and marketing campaigns, market trends and exceptional events as well as ensuring the smooth flow of goods from order to delivery for wholesale business and managing stock of incoming goods from suppliers.

This will see you being responsible for:

• Managing stock levels in relation to forecast
• Production planning including supplier management
• Keeping up-to-date accurate stock information and review against demand for shortages
• Dealing with management of delivery issues or changes to demand and;
• In addition, you will provide support to the rest of the team during busy periods and for holiday cover

With a proven track record gained within in a similar role (ideally from food / fmcg), you will be highly numerate and possess excellent communication and problem solving skills, along with the natural ability to prioritise and organise work schedules. With excellent IT skills (in particular Excel), you will also have knowledge of SAP or equivalent.
