A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a successful and well-established freight forwarder, currently going through significant growth.

Overview:

The role is extremely varied where you will become a key member of the team as an Operations Manager. Overseeing a team of 6+ within Ocean/Sea Import & Export shipments from start to finish. You will be a hands on manager in all aspects of the freight forwarding process, ensuring the team gives the customer the highest level of service, and receiving goods safely and on-time. Excellent working environment with a great reputation for staff retention where success is rewarded through progression and package.

Candidate requirement:

• Minimum of 18 months experience within an Operations Manager role
• Both Import & Export experience essential
• Ocean/Sea experience essential
• Must be enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated & looking to develop & progress
• Excellent managerial abilities, leading from the front, coaching, mentoring etc

Package:

• Excellent basic salary of up to £60,000
• Potential to earn additional bonus
