An exciting opportunity to join a friendly and interactive office environment based on the outskirts of Bicester. Our client is looking for an individual who is a highly experienced administrator with excellent computer skills, particularly Excel. Previous knowledge of a logistics and or supply chain role is desirable.

A generous salary of between £22,000 - £25,000 is on offer, (dependent on experience). Flexible working hours between Monday and Friday, 35 hours a week. 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, 3 days to be held over for Christmas and the option to buy 5 more days.   • Act as the focal point for equipment demand requests

  • Liaising between supplier and customer and being the robust link between the two

  • Providing logistic solutions where problems may arise

  • Arranging shipping and liaising with the port control

  • Ensure all information is recorded and relayed accurately

  • Raising purchase orders, arrange for fuel cards and record accordingly

  • Liaise with external departments to ensure product quality

  • Work towards strict KPI’s

  • A good level of customer service, assisting with the parts help desk

  • Being part of the out of hours on call team, no more than once a month

  • Any necessary ad hoc admin

Skills required:

  • Excellent oral and written English

  • Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office no less than an intermediate Excel user

  • Previous administration experience

  • Must have own transport due to rural location

This is a fast paced, reactive role where each day will provide exciting challenges. As a customer-facing role, a brilliant telephone manner is a necessity. To be considered for this role you will possess strong communication skills with high attention to detail and organisation. The successful candidate will be subject to appropriate security checks.
