Warehouse Manager

Due to continued growth, my client are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This is a new role and will report directly into the Managing Director.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring that customers’ orders are despatched and received safely according to demanding seasonal delivery schedules.

A range of candidates with experience in warehousing, transport and logistics will be considered, including individuals with the appropriate skills taking their first step up into management.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a small, experienced and motivated team of warehouse staff and drivers
• Manage and monitor all regulatory requirements including but not exclusively VOSA, ADR and HSE
• Manage stock levels
• Manage delivery schedules and paperwork
• Manage goods in and goods out
• Communicate effectively with commercial staff to ensure deadlines are met
• Take responsibility for any additional tasks that may arise

Skills required:

• Process driven, able to establish efficient operations
• Strong eye for detail
• Happy to "muck in" when required, helping pick orders and unload deliveries
• Happy to take on additional responsibilities
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Staff management/supervisory experience
