Job Details

One of the UKs leading collection, recycling and disposal businesses is looking for a talented Commercial Fleet Category Manager to join their growing Procurement Team

The organisation is based in Buckinghamshire, but this role is a get out, meet and manage your stakeholder’s opportunity.  You will be given the autonomy to run your category, managing your diary to meet suppliers, senior stakeholders and whatever it takes to drive the Commercial Fleet Category forward.

This is a full end-to-end opportunity where you will have full responsibility for the category spend, senior stakeholder and supplier management.

The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of working with Commercial Vehicle spend ideally looking at the modernisation of commercial vehicles to electric/hybrid vehicles.

You will ideally have…

  • Commercial Vehicle Category experience
  • A proven background in implementing category strategies
  • A track-record of delivering savings from sourcing activity
  • Great negotiation skills
  • Well-honed communication / people skills
  • Degree / CIPS would be a bonus
