Seeking an ambitious compliance expert looking for a step up into a company which aims to be the best in class! The USA Customs Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with import/export rules and regulations across borders.This is a rapidly growing pharmaceuticals company with global scope!
Overview:
Reporting to the head of Global Logistics, the Head of Americas Customs Compliance will navigate the complex Americas import/export requirements and is responsible to develop, implement, and monitor the Company's trade compliance program under applicable U.S. laws and regulations. A key objective of this role is to ensure compliance with all applicable import/export rules and regulations in an effort to minimize exposure to penalties and fines from non-compliance.
Requirements:
- Ability to apply trade compliance knowledge and experience to complex issues with minimal need for external resources.
- Management experience
- Temperature controlled FMCG experience
- Proficiency with trade compliance systems and ability to research transactions and prepare reports in SAP.
- Ability to influence in a highly matrixed environment and across a variety of internal and external stakeholders
