Production Sales Inventory Manager (B2B)

Who we are

The Digital Media Group (DMG) is responsible for the pan-European sales and distribution of Hitachi's leading-edge digital solutions for the home and business environments. Products include LED TVs, interactive flat panels and a range of business and education projectors.

The role

Reporting to the Head of B2B, you will be responsible for looking after the whole PSI (Production – Sales – Inventory) for the team, working closely with sales, operations and the overseas factories.

This means liaising with Sales Managers on a daily basis to understand their sales forecast and upcoming tenders; and on a monthly basis meeting with Head of B2B and Business Manager to analyse sales forecasts and market trends to decide future production.

As well as agreeing production plans with the overseas factories, you’ll also be responsible for Logistics and Admin support, everything from shipment methods and delivery requirements to managing SAP material masters and recording and reporting management accruals.

You’ll also provide sales support and have a key role in putting together and controlling price quotations, based on a full understanding of the P&L, the business’s KPIs and the market competition.

Skills & Experience

As a stand-alone product planning position within the B2B team you must be able to take-on responsibility and make your own logical decisions with minimal direction. You’ll also need considerable experience in demand, stock and production planning, as well as ideally experience in sales and/or logistics. Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot table and vlookup, a must; Macro is a desirable), the ability to use SAP would be an advantage. A good understanding of P&L is also desirable.
