Your new role
This role is based in a centralised back office function that has been created to manage the spend of other U.K sites of the business and their acquired companies. Sitting in the indirect procurement team of 5, this remit will have an emphasis on Supplier scorecards and set up onto a new Procure to Pay (P2P) system.
The natural progression in this role will be to become a system expert for the new software and set up new KPI's to give accurate indications on supplier performance. The role will still operate as a buyer for services into the organisation and the successful applicant will report into category managers of I.T, FM, Travel, Staffing and utilities.
Within this team they are always looking to streamline existing processes and rationalise the supplier base. It is important to be innovative and be forthcoming with information to improve OTIF, quality and cost targets.
