Supply Chain Leader
We’re looking for someone to head up our entire logistics network. Sound simple? Since we make, move, and sell nearly 1 million bottles a day in over 14 different countries, using an entirely chilled supply chain; this job isn’t for the faint hearted.
If the above doesn’t sound challenging enough, we’re doing this whilst growing at over 10% a year and bringing new manufacturing and logistics partners on board continuously to meet our ever more complex portfolio.
In this Job you’d be report to the Head of Supply Chain Operations (SCO), looking after all the transport and warehousing operations across Europe (and beyond), for the whole innocent business. We run an outsourced, but in control, operation and utilise a team of 8 people to ensure the logistics network runs smoothly and our partners deliver to our high expectations.
With an operational budget of £30m you’ll be expected to deliver against this and identify productivity opportunities either through great negotiation or network optimisation. Whilst the job is UK based, there will be some travel around Europe to manage and establish new suppliers.
Another key aspect of this role is that you’ll be the natural second in command for the Head of SCO, deputising where appropriate; so you’ll need to ensure you have great knowledge and understanding of the whole supply chain.

The perfect candidate would have a manufacturing or engineering degree with substantial experience in supply chain senior leadership roles
An inspirational leadership style is key, evidenced by development of high-quality talent and engagement of your direct team, and impact on the wider business
Market-leading commercial acumen, with a track record of managing and negotiating complex supplier relationships, conducting negotiations at the highest level, and creating long-term mutual commitment
Experience of managing & delivering strategic change in a high growth organisation
You’ll enjoy operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast paced environment. When we say fast, we mean fast.
Experience within FMCG is desirable (especially chilled), but if you think you’ve got the transferable skills then please talk to us
A proven track record of influencing thinking at a senior level, both within and outside of our span of control, and delivering strong performance managing multi country 3PL operations.
