Reporting into the Buying Director at Head Office in West London, the role responsibilities are as follows:-
*Sourcing ingredients on time and within budget
*Supplier selection to meet the business needs
*Supplier performance management against agreed SLA's
*Analysing trends and forecasting
*Negotiating contract terms
*Project planning
Skills and Experience
My client is looking for the following skills and experience to be successful in the role :-
*Experience of working within an FMCG or fast food business
*Working with products in the category ranges of rice, grains, fruit, vegetables and sauces
*Strong understanding of the food ingredient market
*Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
*Strong communication and negotiating skills
