A senior level managerial role for an IT Procurement expert, within a global organisation
My client is a leading global financial services organisation providing a range of products and services across Investment and Insurance. Due to internal progression and development, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Procurement Manager with team responsibility.
You will have an extensive background in leading and developing strategic sourcing activity across IT spend, with a special focus on Software and Services. Although a financial services background is not essential, you will have a strong Blue Chip and corporate background, with experience of managing stakeholder relationships at an Exec and Board level.
Working on a range of exciting technology led projects; your role will be pivotal to the success of the organisation as you help shape, build and deliver the technology roadmaps that will drive the business forward in the digital space.
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
• Extensive IT procurement experience (IT Software / IT Services)
• Expertise in all facets of commercial contracts, including assignment, dispute resolution, termination and general drafting
• Strong commercial awareness with proven influencing and negotiation skills
• Superb communications skills at all level with the ability to deliver high-level presentations
• Strong analytical skills
