Demand and Collaborative Planning Manager
£33,000- £39,000 + Additional Benefits
Our client, who is a leading FMCG blue chip organization based in Hertfordshire, is looking to appoint a talented, passionate and commercially aware Demand and Collaborative Planning Manager. You will be responsible for leading and managing the supply chain to improve service to a major grocery retailer in an all encompassing end to end supply chain. Your remit will include making sure that the right processes are in place to maintain an excellent OTIF. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the operational processes between supplier and retailer eg forecast volumes , promotional planning & phasing , inbound service performance , DC to store service performance & store 'on shelf availability'. It will be important to understand and influence supplier and retailer end to end supply chain processes through to purchase in store by consumers.

The key accountabilities of the role include:
*Managing and leading a team to deliver excellent customer service - OTIF
*Premium forecast accuracy management
*Contributing to the business cost reduction plans
Skills & Experience
You will have strong experience of customer facing situations, engaging a range of customers in an FMCG manufacturing/retail environment. Knowledge of forecasting, demand planning and supply chain management is also desirable. Alongside this you will resume the position of the key link between the commercial and supply teams (supplier and retailer). For this reason, personality is of paramount importance. The successful candidate will need to portray strong people skills.
You will be a team player of graduate calibre with strong interpersonal, motivational, communication (written and oral) and organisational skills. The client desires somebody who is a natural leader and will not be afraid to make key decisions. A proven track record of supplying into the retail industry is essential. Experience using 'Retail Link' is also highly desireable. This role offers excellent career progression to the right candidate.
