Say hello to an outstanding opportunity to take your career forward with our Procurement team. Say hello to new models, new engines and an ongoing investment in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility here in Swindon. Say hello to Honda's latest group of supermodels. They’re already causing quite a stir, but our commitment to the future wouldn’t be possible without our people - and that’s where you come in. So if you’d like to be part of some of the most exciting procurement innovations going on in the UK right now, we’re waiting to hear from you.
Working closely with the Project Leader for a specific new model, your challenge will be to gather, track, summarise and report on the cost of components through the development process. This will include liaising with the Buying teams to ensure that costs are captured accurately, as well as developing and analysing Purchasing Parts Lists. You’ll also work with colleagues in the UK and Japan to understand the reasons for cost movement through the development process
With an advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, you will have:
· a proven track record of collating and analysing data from multiple sources to summarise into clear and cohesive reports
· a highly organised approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks to achieve deadlines
· excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
· ideally an understanding of manufacturing Parts Lists and Bills of Materials, though this is definitely not essential.
Now say hello to a great opportunity to be part of our future. Visit our careers site to find out more and apply.
Graduate applications are welcome. This is a great opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in your first year and lots of further development opportunities.
The first year graduate salary is up to £30,000 plus overtime and benefits.
