A Blue chip global employer of choice based in Uxbridge, Middlesex are currently recruiting for an FM Buyer to join their high performing team.
The role will involve sourcing and negotiating for the procurement of Facilities Management, including building and cleaning services, and to contribute to the achievement of an optimum level of price, quality and service in line with business goals and client and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Sourcing suppliers and managing stakeholder relationships
*Recommend improvements to maximise divisional and/or business sector performance and reduce costs whilst maintaining customer and client satisfaction
*Conduct contract negotiations as agreed with the manager, ensuring price, quality and service targets and standards are achievable
*Complete all new documentation timely and accurately with the required authorisation and forward to relevant department prior to implementation of a contract
*Review assigned supplier performance on a regular basis to ensure compliance with terms and conditions of contract and Service Level Agreement
*Manage all outstanding debt and comply with published finance procedures
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following qualities, skills and experience:
Essential
*Ability to demonstrate delivery of results through the use of a structured sourcing process
*Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels
*Previous purchasing experience within a large company with a diverse customer base and wide service offering
*Competent level of knowledge of commercial law, contract law and legislation
*I.T literate
Desirable
*CIPS professional qualification or equivalent
*Previous experience of strategic partner purchasing
*Experience of E-auctioning and E-tendering
