This exciting role will allow the successful candidate to help shape and manage both, local sourcing strategy for a wide range of direct & indirect commodities, as well as specific global category projects.
Ideal profile
•Graduate with an Economics, Business or Engineering bias. CIPS qualification or equivalent
•International buying experience in a manufacturing environment
•Proven Category Sourcing development
•Supplier Relationship Management experience
•Stakeholder management & influencing skills
•Track record of delivering results in a fast moving environment
•Excellent negotiator
•Team player
•Experience of multi functional project leadership
•Fluency in English with a second European language
•Flexibility to travel
Due to the nature of the global supply chains, it also requires an understanding of international sourcing and the associated control of risk in currency and commodity exposure. You will work closely with multi-functional stakeholders and business teams and their suppliers, to ensure best practice and the delivery of key business projects and targets. Through this awareness and business engagement you will also optimise stock levels, identify spend aggregation and develop use of appropriate e-procurement tools and techniques.
