Your main responsibilities will include:
?As a Supply Planner you will be the interface between the Sales Organisation and the Factory.
?You will have responsibility for the fine-tuning of the supply plan by signalling and flagging to the factory about changing priorities, providing information on short term supply issues to Sales / Demand teams, and ensuring stock levels are consistently within safe parameters.
?Monitor daily sales and adjust supply plans as necessary to ensure service is maintained. Inform Demand planners of any major service or waste issues on a daily / weekly basis.
?Build key relationships with the factories and actively participate in face-to-face monthly factory capacity and production planning reviews. Become the expert in all matters relating to factory
?Reduce any excess waste by agreeing derogation's with customers, clearance deals or other solutions
?Be point of contact with factory for all medium-long term service or supply issues to customer and manage scenarios/contingencies to improve supply.
?Represent Supply Chain at S&OP meetings challenging thinking on forecasts and ensure risks and opportunities are well represented
?Work with sales and marketing teams on all NPD launches to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained during and post launch.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
?Prior FMCG planning experience necessary
?Knowledge of MRP processes in an FMCG environment
?High attention to detail skills and numerate
?Excellent communication skills
?Ability to build relationships across all levels of seniority
