My client is a global manufacturing organisation located in the North West England.
They now have a fantastic opportunity for a procurement manager to join their well established procurement team and manage a large area of their spend for their UK operation. This role is extremely key to the organisation and you will be responsible for assisting with project procurement and strategy. The role involves managing a number of commodities and ensuring the best procurement strategies and procedures are in place. As the role involves a Far East and European sourcing a large degree of travel will be expected, therefore previous experience of this would be essential.
As this role is extremely key to the UK operation, you must have proven experience of managing commodities on a category management basis particularly within the automotive sector.
