Morpeth is the home of Schweppes Abbey Well Natural Mineral Water, the official water of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the only Coca-Cola Enterprises water site in Great Britain. We are looking for a QESH professional that specialises in Health and Safety.

The professional, Health and Safety will have responsibility for the implementation of Health and Safety policies and standards to ensure the site achieves a healthy and safe working environment and a zero accident culture as well as ensuring robust Health and Safety processes, such as incident management and accident investigations, meet the required standards. It is also a key requirement to support more complex Health and Safety processes such as risk assessments and Legal technical standards, ensuring the site delivers its Duty of Care to all employees.

Accountable for Health and Safety activity onsite, establishing robust routines and carrying out internal audits while managing external audits you will be defining the preventative health and safety plan for the whole site; within this working with the various site functions to define and execute the Health & Safety standards ensuring a systematic and OE approach to risk reduction.

It is anticipated that you will be able to demonstrate experience as Health and Safety practitioner in a manufacturing environment with a number of risks and hazards and experience of driving cultural/behavioural change in safety. You should also be able to demonstrate that you possess a Good knowledge of Health and Safety standards, Laws and risk assessment and reduction methods.
