A fantastic opportunity for a services procurement Buyer to join a world leading engineering company with sales in excess of 4 Billion Euros
The successful applicant will negotiate supplier agreements with specified Indirect spend suppliers, liaise with the regions to make sure they use the agreements set at EMEA level and track spend development across indirects category. Categories will include Facilities management, Logistics, Energy and Utilities, Fleet and other Services.
Duties include:
• To contribute to the sourcing of Indirect Spend categories on an EMEA Basis as designated by the Category Manager
• To analyze and prepare data for the Category Manager and others
• To liaise with EMEA Regions as required ensuring we reach the most cost effective solutions
• To contribute to the annual savings activity plan
• To assist the Category Manager to negotiate Supply agreements and record these in writing
• To track the appropriate material and cost movements and make recommendations for action
• To undertake specific other projects from time to time
• To calculate Cost Breakdown analysis as required
The Person:
• Indirects procurement experience
• Ideally CIPS qualified and/or educated to degree standard
