Our client, a major global conglomerate, require a Procurement Analyst within their newly re-structured procurement function.
The Role:
This is a broad role within an exciting, dynamic procurement function and will report into and assist a Category Lead.
Other aspects of this role include:
-Identify procurement opportunities that will result in annual benefits
-Produce agreed initiatives that meet category needs
-Assist the Category to ensure savings targets are met
-Undertake an assessment of existing supplier information
-Carry out market research to support procurement function
Experience:
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of procurement / eSourcing / e-auction / RFPs
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skill-set
