Our client is a tier 1 multinational IT services and consultancy business. They have a truly global delivery capability and an instantly recognisable brand.
As they grow their supply chain practice they need to strengthen the team particularly with strong supplier relationship management consultants.
The role will entail:
-Analysis of existing Supplier relationship Management (SRM) processes and systems.
- Design and definition of new SRM processes
-Design of new strategies using best practice
-Value and impact analysis of proposed changes to the clients' existing SRM processes
- Vendor selection and analysis of appropriate automation/effectiveness tools.
- Implementation of new SRM capabilities and systems
- Working seamlessly with clients' own resources to ensure that SRM solutions that are implemented will address their business requirements
You may come from Industry or a competitor, will have gravitas, a high degree of creativity and the ability to work in a team, both as a leader and a key contributor. While you will be highly skilled in managing and influencing suppliers you will be equally adept at managing internal stakeholders. You will be expected to deliver SRM projects that are both technically appropriate and able to be implemented within the client environment. You will be able to show examples of having developed, executed and maintained a project work plan and budget. You will be customer focused and obsessive about meeting/exceeding client expectations.
You must be degree educated and comfortable with extensive travel.
