Headline:
Finance Manager within an expanding new department of a leading Global FTSE 100 FMCG corporation.
Role:
Finance Manager within this newly created department, you will be operating within a relatively Greenfield department created as a result of a large-scale centralisation and expansion drive across EMEA Supply Chain.
As such the position represents an outstanding opportunity to shape the development of this new function along with excellent future development prospects.
You will be responsible for pro-actively engaging with regional exporting factories Operations Finance Managers and Hub Supply Chain Managers to manage regional export FG, CRT Transfer Prices and WMS prices, providing financial support to all regional sourcing and supply chain decisions.
Your remit will encompass:
Managing regional and departmental finances to ensure compliance with wider group guidelines / policies & UK legislation
Supporting the Head of Finance and Financial Controller in establishing new company operating environment and processes
Working cross-functionally with Procurement, Supply Chain and Regional Finance teams to provide financial analysis and expertise
Ownership of the regional export Transfer Pricing process, requiring an understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
Proactively reviewing and analysis existing processes and controls and designing / implementing improvements, ensuring cost-effective governance
Implementation & maintenance of financial controls
Finance & Accounting - managing transaction process design & reports and measurement of business performance
Management Reporting & Financial Management - Utilising management & financial information to influence resource allocation decisions & business results
Audit & Business Risk - Understand and implement effective and efficient business controls
Operations - utilises understanding of primary supply chain to influence resource allocation & provide tailored analysis to influence business decisions
Requirements:
Qualified - ACA / CIMA / ACCA
Demonstrable success operating within a Supply Chain Finance function, ideally FMCG and / or Consultancy
Excellent project management skills
Excellent stakeholder relationship development, maintenance and management skills
Previous people management experience, either direct or indirect / project based is highly beneficial
SAP systems experience advantageous though non-essential
