The Logistics Procurement Category Manager using extensive knowledge of logistics to optimize procurement strategies, third party expenditure related to logistics and related contracts. Focusing on transport logistics (fleet, road, rail, air and marine on an international level) and third party storage the successful applicant will be required to develop innovative strategies in order to drive costs down and achieve optimal value from third party contractors. Working at both a global and local level you will work to improve category strategy as well as having responsibility for out/in sourcing decisions and have the ability to secure the cooperation of stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:

-Have logistical procurement category experience.
-Experience of working with a number of transportation modes, but not a prerequisite.
-Be able to show a history of successfully driving down logistics costs and developing strategy in an international transport environment.
-Have the experience and charisma to secure stakeholder co-operation at all levels.
-Ideally Degree educated
