Are you a claims procurement professional seeking a challenging role? Our client, a prestigious FTSE 100 global insurance organisation, seek a Procurement Manager to engage either their Motor or Property claims spend portfolio, circa ?1.5bn per annum.

Role:
This is an exciting role for a procurement manager with demonstrable experience in the Claims arena. The jobholder will be given the opportunity to lead strategic sourcing solutions within the Motor or Property Claims portfolio as well as engagement in multi-million pound outsourcing strategies.
The jobholder will manage the large supplier relationships in conjunction with service delivery colleagues. You will be responsible for ensuring innovation, performance and quality from suppliers. A key part of the role will be to deliver consistent performance against contractual KPI`s, ensuring the Claims work stream continues to drive savings and relationship value.
The successful candidate will require the use of initiative to engage and influence key internal customers and external suppliers to achieve agreed objectives and drive maximum supply market value for the business. You will also need to encourage and develop best practice in the engagement and development of suppliers across the business.
Experience:
Our client is keen on applications from candidates operating within the procurement space of either a Financial Services, Automotive or Property Services organisation;
- Purchasing & Supplier Management background is essential
- Knowledge & experience of Claims Procurement is beneficial
- Sound understanding of sourcing and supply management tools and techniques
- Strong analytical skills
- Sound report writing & presentation skills
- Degree and MCIPS is preferred
