This is an excellent opportunity within a growing Financial Services organisation. Due to the appointment of a new Head of Procurement, our client is looking to recruit an Indirect Procurement Manager to assist in the continued development of this highly valued procurement function.
Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, the jobholder will be responsible for the management of a team of 3 procurement professionals and the associated procurement and supplier management of a ?200m spend covering HR, Professional Services, Legal, Consultancy, Marketing, Print, Property and general services.
The jobholder will be required to design, develop and deliver end-to-end category sourcing strategies as well as leading the negotiation and sourcing life cycle for the large strategic contracts. You will be tasked with building first class relationships with internal stakeholders, in turn growing procurements access to new spend categories.
Your goal is to deliver a responsive and efficient procurement and contracts management service to the business.
Experience:
My client requires a fully qualified MCIPS professional. This is an essential requirement for this post.
- Experience of leading small procurement teams (2/3 people)
- Knowledge of the indirect category space
- Ability to design and implement appropriate performance measures
- Driving adherence to corporate procurement policy
- Negotiation and Communication skills.
- Degree and MCIPS Qualified
