Headline:

Major European organisation is looking for a number of Capital Construction Contracts Managers to take key roles in a large scale Capital build programme

Role:

- Procurement and Contracts Management across major capital build programme, with a particular emphasis on post tender and Contracts Management activity
- To develop and pursue appropriate sourcing strategies in conjunction with key stakeholders
- Ensure value added commercial/contractual and financial management control is deployed and successfully managed throughout the Capital Programmes portfolio from competition through award to close out of all contracts
- Development of relevant contracts and ensure they are fit for purpose
- Ensure effective execution of contractual obligations through the alignment and management of all supply chain arrangements


Experience:

- Graduate level education, supported by professional qualifications, or demonstrable equivalent capability
- Experience of working industry side, i.e. having managed the large construction contractors
- True contract management experience, as well as project management experience
- MCIPS qualified or qualification in progress
- Minimum 5 years commercial contracting experience of CAPITAL construction in a blue chip organisation
- Experience of contract law, the EU Procurement Regulations and specific experience of NEC based contracting
