Our client is a leading pharmaceutical/ biotech organisation who have experienced significant growth over the last 30 years. They are intrinsically linked with their customer base and proud of the products they supply to aid the seriously ill.
Reporting to the Director for European Procurement, you will support the planning, organization and delivery of a category procurement strategy that aligns with the business's European locations’ requirements, the overall business/procurement strategy and corporate goals.
The role includes a significant level of interaction with groups and individuals across Europe. Building and proactively managing excellent working relationships with colleagues is critical to the development of the role.
You will have ability to demonstrate through concrete examples that you have strong experience sourcing and managing one or more of the following commodity categories at a European level:
- Primary & secondary Packaging Materials
- Cold Chain Packaging
- Logistics and Distribution - Transport/ Fleet
It is also important to have an understanding of GMP, cGMP and other applicable regulations as related to the pharmaceutical/ biotech industry.
This position can be based either in the UK (near Cambridge) or Naarden (near Amsterdam).
