A vacancy has arisen for a Regional Supply Chain Manager based at our head office at Cowick Hall, near Goole. Reporting to the VP Operations, the role holder will be responsible for the strategic improvement of Croda’s Supply Chain, providing a world class service to our customers. The main responsibilities of the role include developing and coordinating medium to long term planning processes, taking a leading role in resolving supply and demand imbalances, coordinating slow and problem stock management and identifying the optimum distribution structure for supply within Europe.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or hold a professional qualification in this discipline. Previous experience of supply chain, with particular emphasis on forecasting and demand management is essential. This is an influential role within the organisation, requiring interaction at many levels, therefore excellent communication skills are a must. As is the ability to demonstrate through past experience your ability to deliver outstanding results. Experience and knowledge of SAP is also desirable.
