HANSEAHanseaticsoft announces new purchasing module for its fleet management system

Software company Hanseaticsoft has announced the release of a new purchasing module for its Microsoft Azure-powered Cloud Fleet Manager (CFM) fleet management solution.

CFM Purchase is described as “an intelligent and reliable solution that's designed to simplify complex order processes for shipping companies.”  Through the provision of a fully integrated and centralised solution, Hanseaticsoft claims that the new module, known as CFM Purchase, can greatly improve the processes of logistics and stock planning.

The module allows shippers to access purchasing data in real time, and this data is available immediately upon the entry of new orders into the CFM Purchase module. This information is always accessible through the use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Patrick Toll, CEO of PT-Shipmanagement, said of the new product: “I am enthused by the new possibilities that CFM Purchase offers. Until now, purchasing always required an enormous communication and planning effort. With Hanseaticsoft's new purchase module, the whole purchase process is done in a single application, and everyone concerned is always informed about the latest status. This greatly reduces the time and administrative effort required.”

CFM utilises the features of Microsoft Azure to power a flexible software solution that allows shipping companies to enhance their internal structures and maximise their data quality.

Hanseaticsoft CEO Alexander Buchmann said: "Microsoft Azure offers us a variety of benefits, including reduced effort and reduced infrastructure costs. This enables us to focus on increasing the quality of our product. Azure helps us to guarantee that our worldwide customers will have reliable, real-time access to their data on the platform."

Andrea Carl, Director of Commercial Communications at Microsoft Corp, said that Microsoft Azure offers various benefits to cloud-connected companies and industries in terms of its global reach and agility. She added that Microsoft is pleased by Hanseaticsoft’s commitment to improving its customers’ experience through Azure.
